Formed in 1999, Usud has a well-deserved cult status in the Balkans area. They started as a five-piece death-thrash unit firmly rooted in local Croatian underground punk and metal community. In their middle period, they leaned more to death grind sound, but over the years they morphed into a great death metal trio with a black metal sense for melody and atmosphere. Unfortunately, they are not very active in recent years which is a shame considering their live shows are really something to be experienced. Rarely a three-piece band can sound so massive and heavy as Usud.

Their last album "As Old As The Hills" was long in the making. Initially recorded through 2011, 2012 and partially through 2014, it was finally mixed and mastered in 2019 by Kut Sobe studio and released by Geenger Records.
